Whitney Lange

Whitney Lange, owner and Interior Designer, has eagerly taken over as DBR’s new owner, in October 2023!

When Whitney moved to Lafayette in 2012, she just knew that “homes” were where her heart was.  Whitney pursued an Interior Design degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  After graduation, Whitney accepted a full-time position at a local interior design firm, DBR Designs, where she will now forever call “home” as the new owner.

Her passion for interior design, connecting with the community, and a keen desire to help beautify the homes of Acadiana has coursed Whitney into ownership of DBR Designs and co-owner of House Dressings Professional Home Staging.

After hours, Whitney stays very busy keeping up with her three VERY active kids,  playful pup, and adventurous husband, Jesse. Despite working in the city, Whitney retreats to her quiet country home where she finds serenity in tending to her greenhouse and fishing with the  family in the backyard.

Lori Danos 

Lori first began working at DBR in 2020 as the office manager and stayed on until the birth of her son in 2022. Now, as part owner of DBR Designs and co-owner of House Dressings Professional Home Staging, Lori fills in at DBR when an extra pair of hands are needed!

Enriching homes of Acadiana is one of Lori’s greatest passions! Lori has an education in business management, interior design, and human resources. 

When Lori is not busy staging or assisting at DBR, she loves spending time at home with her husband Alex, their little boy, and adorable pup. They are looking forward to welcoming their second baby in summer 2024!

Brittany Mahfouz

Brittany has been with DBR since 2018 after graduating from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design.

Brittany loves getting the opportunity to work closely with clients in selecting the perfect aesthetic for their home. Whether it is a project model, paint colors or any other home selections they may need assistance with. Her favorite part in design is helping clients select the perfect fabric(s) or special piece of furniture!

In her free time she loves spending time with her husband, daughter and three dogs at home watching movies or going to the park. She also loves to paint dog portraits!

Shelby Young

Originally from Eunice, LA, Shelby moved to Lafayette in grade school. She began working as an intern for DBR in 2019 and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2020 virtually, with a degree in interior design when she began working full time!

Shelby’s love for design began at a very early age, watching HGTV with her mom and playing design games via nintendo. She assists with selections, project management, builds project models, and is very involved in the process!  Her favorite part of residential design is the ability to be creative and provide functionality, unique to each client’s needs and aesthetics.

Shelby is an avid movie watcher , loves to read books, exercise, and spend time with family, her boyfriend William, and their pup Jackie! 

Amanda Cambre

Amanda, office manager, graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2017. She grew up in Baton Rouge but has considered Lafayette her home for the last 10 years.

While not at DBR, Amanda likes to spend her time with her husband, family, and friends. She also spends a lot of her time tending to her gardens and trying new local restaurants!
